About This Drink
The Boulevardier, the drink of choice of socialite American journalist Erskine Gwynne, was first recognised in the roaring twenties. Named after a Parisian magazine, it can roughly be translated from French as “a wealthy and fashionable socialite”. It’s no surprise to find the Boulevardier became a popular drink for the elites of Paris. Nowadays it is celebrated as a classic cocktail that can be reinvented in many different ways.
